Due to age, the water pipes at the Pfarrgasse/Draschestraße intersection plateau in the 23rd district must be replaced by the City of Vienna – Vienna Water. In the shadow of this work, the roadway is being repaired by the City of Vienna – Road Administration and Road Construction. Road construction work will begin on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 and is expected to last until August 19.
Traffic measures
During construction, Draschestraße between Karl-Krestan-Gasse and Pfarrgasse and Pfarrgasse between Beyfusgasse and Draschestraße will be closed to vehicle traffic. The one-way routes in Karl-Krestan-Gasse and in Kolbegasse from Schwemmingergasse to Pfarrgasse will be temporarily reversed. The one-way route in Beyfusgasse between Schemmingergasse and Pfarrgasse/Sterngasse will also be reversed during construction.
Diversion routes
- Draschestraße in the direction of travel towards the city:
- Büttnergasse, Kolbegasse, Pfarrgasse.
- Kolbegasse in the direction of travel out of town:
- Sterngasse, Beyfusgasse, Schwemmingergasse, Kolbegasse.
- Pfarrgasse/Inzersdorf Kirchenplatz von Hochwassergasse bis Draschestraße:
- Hochwassergasse, Neilreichgasse, Draschestraße.
- Inzersdorf Kirchenplatz from Draschestraße to Karl-Krestan-Gasse:
- Draschestraße, Karl-Krestan-Gasse, Inzersdorf Kirchenplatz.
The public transport stops in the respective construction area will be relocated locally. Wiener Linien provides separate information on this.
Foot traffic will be maintained.
