22nd district: Traffic measures as part of the construction of cycle paths on Rennbahnweg and in Ludwig-Reindl-Gasse |  City vienna

Vienna (OTS) Along the Rennbahnweg in the 22nd district, one-way cycle paths are being built in both directions between Wagramer Straße and Ludwig-Reindl-Gasse and in Ludwig-Reindl-Gasse to Breitenleer Straße. Trees are also being planted and green spaces are being built to provide more shade and cooling. From Monday, January 22, 2024, traffic measures will take effect in these construction phases.

Traffic measures:

During construction, the Rennbahnweg from Austerlitzgasse to and towards Ludwig-Reindl-Gasse (travelling out of town) will be a temporary one-way route. During the construction work, bus routes 27A and N25 will be rerouted between Austerlitzgasse and Silenegasse via Rennbahnweg, Silenegasse, Lieblgasse and Austerlitzgasse. During the construction work between Silenegasse and Ludwig-Reindl-Gasse, buses will be rerouted via Lieblgasse, Silenegasse and Rennbahnweg. For the duration of the construction work between Franz-Eduard-Matras-Gasse and Theodor-Kramer-Straße, the two bus stops leading into the city in the current construction area will be abandoned without replacement. The “Hochmuthgasse” stop towards the city center will be moved from Rennbahnweg in front of house number 31 to house number 35.
