22nd district: Redesign of Wagramer Straße – traffic measures during the autumn holidays | City of Vienna
Vienna (OTS) –

With the redesign of Wagramer Strasse between Donaustadtstrasse/Siebeckstrasse and Am Langen Felde, new green spaces with around 100 trees and numerous lounge areas are being created under the motto “Get out of the asphalt”. A “street park” over 250 meters long brings an urban park feeling to the previously gray street and a new, structurally separated two-way cycle path with a length of around 1.2 kilometers will be Vienna’s first mega cycle highway from the city to the Complete Kagraner Platz.

Traffic measures from October 25th to 31st, 2024

At the intersection of Wagramer Straße and Am Langen Felde, a straight-ahead lane is available in the direction of travel out of town during the autumn holidays. Two lanes are free in the direction of travel into the city. All turning options remain open. The previous traffic measures will remain in place.

The City of Vienna – Road Administration and Road Construction will report separately on further traffic measures in subsequent construction phases.

  • Location of the construction site: 22., Wagramer Straße between Donaustadtstraße/Siebeckstraße and Am Langen Felde
  • Planned completion of the entire project: summer 2025
