Construction work by the City of Vienna – road administration and road construction to connect the Aspern city road under construction to the existing road network has been underway since July 23, 2024. A new construction phase with changed traffic measures will begin on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
Details and traffic measures
To connect the Aspern city road to the existing road network, Hirschstettner Straße will be converted at the Hirschstetten junction from Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
Hirschstettner Straße, which leads in the direction of Kagran, will be closed to motorized traffic between house number 44 and Franz-Fellner-Gasse for the duration of this construction phase. The diversion leads via Spange Franz-Fellner-Gasse and Stadtstraße Aspern. In the direction of Hirschstetten, one lane on Hirschstettner Straße will be maintained for motorized traffic. Pedestrian and bicycle traffic will be maintained.
The City of Vienna – road administration and road construction will report separately on the traffic measures from November 11, 2024.
