From the July 30th to August 17, 2025 the banks of the Maschsee turn into a summer promenade again. Already for the 38th time, the Maschseefest invites you to an unmistakable open-air experience, which inspires musical live acts, international catering concepts and relaxed atmosphere. As a permanently anchored climax in the event calendar of the city of Hanover, the Maschseefest attracts guests from all over Germany and the neighboring European countries every year.
At the start on July 30th, the groups will be Stilzen-art & confusao Open the festival on the north bank with a colorful parade in an impressive way: Majestic summer insects are dancing with playful caterpillars and elegant flowers. HAZ and NP play the stage on the north bank
The Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung (HAZ) and the new press (NP) are again on board as a media partner for the third year in a row. You play the Maschsee stage on the north bank every day with a colorful program mix.
Radio partnerships bring their own program to the stage

Awareness-guidelines
For a respectful coexistence and against any form of crossing border, the HVG has once again formulated a “mindfulness guide” this year in addition to the existing security concept. The measures include the use of the Saferspaces-App as well as an increased PSNV team (psychosocial emergency care) of the Johanniter. The app is accessible by scanning the QR code on Saferspaces posters on the lanterns around the Maschsee and in the sanitary rooms. With some exciting innovations for the next three years, the HVG sets new accents in the catering trade. Share stations on the festival site
The startup SHARE A total of 15 power bank stations from Hanover provide a total of 15 power bank stations, including three larger models with a particularly high capacity. Guests can borrow power banks there to load their smartphones on the go. The first 90 minutes are free of charge thanks to HTP, after which a fee of 1 euro per half hour is incurred. Arrival and departure, parking and mobile on the lake
