Sašo Avsenik on the motto of the tour: “Our musical journey began a little over 15 years ago – with the recordings of the first CD “Music in the blood“. We celebrated our TV debut with this in November 2009: in “Musikantenstadl” with Andy Borg! Actually the idea was to surprise my grandfather Slavko for his 80th birthday. Looking back, the show was the starting point of our career as professional musicians!”
15 years have now flown by, during which the group has gained incredible experiences and success. The fans at home and abroad are happy that the history of the Oberkrainer sound is being continued by Sašo Avsenik and his musicians. And with your own handwriting, such as: the latest hit “Hello little mouse“, which now also exists by “Die Draufgänger & Hannah”, “Die Jungs Mayrhofner”, in some techno & disco remixes and even in a Japanese version by “Maria & Alpenbuam” and is streamed millions of times!
Reason enough to celebrate! “It’s so nice to be a musician!” The 7 musicians from Slovenia are just as convinced of this, as is the solo guitarist Gregor Avsenik, father of Sašo, who will accompany the tour again!
